I Ended Up Making `b.b23.kim` for One Very Specific Reason

Have you ever stopped and wondered how many l's and i's are actually in bilibili?

I do too. Sometimes I can only type it correctly by sounding it out in my head: bi—li—bi—li. That helps, up to a point. But when you're in a hurry, all those repeated letters still make it easy to slip and end up with something like bilibill or bililbili. And honestly, the biggest issue is that it's just annoying. It looks more complicated than it needs to be.

That gets even worse when you're typing bilibili.com directly into the address bar. Miss a single letter and you have to start over. It wastes time—and by the time you finally get there, you may already have forgotten what you wanted to open Bilibili for in the first place.

So is there a way around this tiny but persistent typing problem?

Yes. There is.

Because b23.kim already happens to carry a very Bilibili-like feel, it was easy to turn one of its subdomains into a shortcut made specifically for Bilibili. That is how b.b23.kim came into being.

Now you can just type b.b23.kim in your browser and jump straight to Bilibili. It is easier to remember than the official domain, and at the very least, it is much easier to see what you are typing.

The idea is simple:

  • one b as the subdomain: short and direct
  • another b in b23: helpful for remembering it
  • and together with Bilibili's familiar 2233 association, you get b.b23

In other words, you mostly just need to remember kim, which is still a lot more readable than trying to keep track of a whole cluster of l's and i's.

Right now, this domain only redirects to Bilibili's main site, and any path under it does the same.

If I get the time later, I may add path-based behavior too—so one route could jump to the feed, another to the homepage, another to videos, and so on.

This is just a small public service project, mainly for myself and for anyone else who has been mildly tormented by the Bilibili domain name for far too long.

If you have ideas for features or improvements, feel free to share them.
