If you have never understood the world of anime and fiction, then you may never understand what it feels like to be treated as strange, to be looked at like something alien.

You may not understand why people shaped by stories can become so strong, or how much cruelty they have had to endure before they learned to stand upright.

You may not see that behind characters who take lives with a thrill, behind that cold and detached expression, there is often fear, loneliness, and a heart trying to hide its panic.

You may not understand why, in our imagination, those who disappeared or journeyed far away never truly leave. They remain in the fairy tale we keep inside us, becoming some of the most beautiful memories we have.

You may not know how many wounds can be hidden behind optimism, or how many things a smile can conceal when they can no longer be spoken aloud.

You may not be able to read our eyes. You may not understand our tears, or the helplessness and disappointment buried inside them.

You may not understand how long we are willing to wait for a name we truly love, or why that waiting matters so much to us.

You may not understand why, in this world, so many villains feel like good people forced into darkness by society.

You may not understand that even the smallest existence still struggles, and that hope is often born precisely from that struggle.

You may not understand how despair in this world can drive us to curl up in dark corners again and again, weak and exhausted, waiting for some kind of redemption.

You may not understand why, when the person we love stands before us, such overwhelming strength can suddenly burst out from within.

You may not understand that what looks like strength is often only a disguise, something we wear to cover the fragility and sorrow inside.

And you may never understand why that unreal world holds the only beauty and longing some of us have left.

I would rather remain in this beautiful world forever. Whether it gives happiness, pain, or grief, all of it feels like a replay of our own lives. Even if we are only living inside our own world, even if it is only an imagined illusion, I still choose to believe in it. Because for me, this is the only truth my soul has ever been able to hold.
